We are very thankful this home was available. We attended a conference at the Pinehurst Resort and the location was perfect. We also played golf and of course the home is close to all the courses. Large spacious home. We are planning to stay again next year.

8 of us stayed here for a week and enjoyed all that Pinehurst has to offer. Walking distance to the Carolina Hotel, and the Pinehurst Clubhouse. Management was super helpful and quick to respond when we could not get the TV working in one room. No complaints, and would definitely stay here again.

We could not have picked a better place for a group of 11. Everyone had a bed and ample space to hang out as a group. The fire pit area and living room had seating for basically everyone. The beds were comfortable and everything was perfect

This is a beautiful old house with enough room for 12 golfers albeit a little snug. It is bigger than it looks in the pictures. Loved it - would definitely return

Location is great!

Matt Vick at Sandhills Rentals was great. Very helpful and responsive. The property was great for our group of five. Each of us had our own bedroom and bathroom. The house is quite a bit outdated, but that is not a deterrent for our group. We would stay there again in the future.

Big house, lots of room for large groups.

Large house in a perfect location. Quick drive or walk to anything in the village. We had an issue with the plumbing in the garage apartment but management dispatched a crew day-of and took care of it swiftly. Would definitely use Sandhills Rentals again in the future! Personable and professional.

Wonderful location, beautiful home, fantastic outdoor spaces, and everything you could want in the kitchen. We fed 22 people three nights in a row and had plenty of dishes and silverware, space for relaxing, and cooking. Love the living areas and spacious bedrooms. Should add to description that the house has a high chair and crib. We had a two year old and family brought their own. Only issue was the plumbing in the apartment wasn’t worked well. Will return again for sure!

My wife and I hosted our wedding there, on the property, and were able to have all of our siblings stay under one roof. Each room has a private bathroom, and the house had everything that we could have possibly needed during our stay. The kitchen was stocked with more than enough equipment to cook for 15+ on multiple nights, the dining room was large to accommodate most of us at one time, and the rest of the house had ample room for everyone to spread out as they wished. This house really worked out perfectly for our special weekend. We slept 10 people + 2 toddlers, and could have accommodated several more if we’d needed to. I would highly recommend it for anyone coming to Pinehurst with a large group of people.

We came to play golf. We went out for dinner every night. 65 Blue Road made it easy to do just that. Comfortable, clean with plenty of room and a great location.

Ladies golf, restaurants, shops, and spa. Can't ask for any more.

The home was good but needs upgrading. The master bedrooom shower needs help. We were bummed to find the grill completely rusted out and unusable...this was a feature we were counting on for meals. (We had to go buy a grill)

I have previously reviewed the property but will do again. Absolutely loved the house. The main house and apartment housed the 12 of us perfectly. Hopefully the house will be available for next years outing.

The house was a wonderful place to stay while visiting Pinehurst. It far exceeded expectations and the rental company was attentive and helpful while booking golf. For a home, right in the middle of town, you couldn’t find a better house.

Our large party loved the house and the retention of many original features. A problem with the heat did impair our enjoyment but the issue was resolved within a reasonable time. The 4 star, rather than 5 star, rating is for one reason only: no bed in the house was firm enough for the two of us with back problems. I would happily rent it again for our NC reunion if that is corrected.

Our company rented this property for a trade show/conference. This property had plenty of space for the 5 of us. The apartment over the garage was a huge surprise. With a total of 13 beds you can pack a lot of guest in. The house was very spacious and left plenty of room for work and play. The close proximity to the resort and village gave us flexibility to walk or ride. We will be back next year.

Overall this house was awesome. We had a group of twelve guys from all over the country in for the 21st year of our golf trip. This house had a lot of character and gave us plenty of space. They had everything you needed in the kitchen. The apartment above the garage with four twin beds came in handy and ensured everyone had their own bed. The location is great but is not really walking distance to the Village. Plenty of parking. It is an older home with lots of rooms so it is a little dark and some of the TVs were difficult to operate.

We love 65 Blue. It is clean, fun and in the perfect spot! We are golfers so we love it!

This was our 5th year at Tassle Pines, and again it was a wonderful, relaxing vacation. Golf, the Spa, and shopping were great. Nina's and Iron Wood Café were exceptional restaurants for large groups.

Our group of 6 spent a week of golf in this spacious and very well located property. Very practical for short traveling to golf courses. The house is charmy but its old age translates in different minor problems such as very weak water pressure in bathrooms.Kitchen would neeed an upgrade and definitevely a second refrigerator would have been appreciated.

The U of Waterloo golf team ( 10 players 2 coaches) spent a week at 65 Blue Rd . The house and garage are well laid out for individual, small group or full team gatherings. The players prepared all meals in a kitchen that had everything. The house was perfect !k

4 senior golfers greatly enjoyed their stay. Very quiet area, close to all Pinehurst Resort courses, very functional, exceptional rental, no reason to stay elsewhere.

This was our first time to Pinehurst and we were pleasantly surprised how great the area was. The house we rented was absolutely beautiful and well maintained. This home was perfect in every way for our family during the wedding weekend of my youngest daughter. The home provided room for everyone to spread out! We had our 7 grandchildren plus their parents and a babysitter! I would LOVE to rent this house again. We also had a Sunday morning brunch after the wedding which went beautifully....Great house!

For year 29 of our annual golf trip we decided to leave the beach and visit Pinehurst. Our trip was a great success and we look forward to doing it all again next September.

We had a lovely time in Pinehurst for US Kids World Championship. Our 3 players from 3 families played awesome! The weather was outstanding and our time at 65 Blue was wonderful.

Wonderful house! Plenty of room for a large group! Clean, organized and beautifully decorated. Cooked dinner in the home 2 nights and had everything we needed! Great place to stay!

Tassle Pines makes for a great girls get-a-way!
The location, sleeping accomadations, and amenities make a wonderful spot for 12 ladies to golf, enjoy the spa, wine, dine, and play card games. The backyard fire pit allowed us to enjoy the late evenings. This has become an annual event.

We rented this house for my entire family for a recent wedding. The house was great with big rooms and loads of space. A really nice house with lots of character and personality. We used all of the rooms including the flat above the garage with 4 beds which was perfect for keeping the groom and his groomsmen out of the way! Would definitely look to rent again.

Golf trip

Perfect for 8 guys

This is our second trip with 8 lady golfers to Tassle Pines. We felt relaxed and at home after each day of golfing on the beautiful courses. The accommodatios were exceptional. We were all very comfortable sleeping and having so many bathrooms was an added plus.

Just recently stayed at tassle pines in pinehurst, and our group really enjoyed the house. The house is great for golfers. We had 13 and it was plenty of room. Lots of room to not be on top of each other. The fire pit out back was great and they even had a basketball goal. Overall I rate this place a 9 on a scale of 10 for everything.

We had an awesome time at the house. The poker table was great.

Overall, this was a very convenient and well serving property for a group of golfers visiting Pinehurst. Two recommendations for the future would be helpful. Somewhere it should be noted as to what the necessary codes are for wireless internet access. We had to call the realtor. Second, the thermostats were preprogrammed and extremely difficult to operate. They were not intuitively obvious. As a result, the property was colder than desired. If things remain the same, then heat will be a summer issue as well.

Two things of which a future renter should be aware are 1) the old steam heating system is loud, and 2) the kitchen has some missing utensils (i.e. sharp knives). But overall, I was very happy with the house and would recommend to others.

Tassle Pines is a grand, old home, located in a quiet part of Pinehurst, a 5 minute walk from the Carolina. The house is very large with rooms to accommodate a big family. Everything we needed was in place when we arrived. The kitchen is very functional, with new appliances. The Family Room is comfortable and offers a large screen TV, great for watching movies and football. The bedrooms had comfortable beds and baths were clean and functioned well (great showers, hot water, comfy towels, etc.). The only minor complaint was lighting. The house could use more fixtures in the ceilings that operate from a wall switch.

Everyone of us loved the house and location. There was an initial problem with heating which was solved within a few a big plus here for prompt attention.

House was large, lovely and comfortable! Wish we had another occasion to rent! Kitchen was exceptional and loved the shabby chic decor!
