It was absolutely fantastic. The house was perfect for all ages, offering privacy for some guest and fun for the others. We will be back for sure

When we visited the property in February, we mentioned that the reviews were not favourable. We were assured that everything would be perfectly in order upon our arrival. We called all arrival weekend and no answer.
1. The deck was full of pine straw and dirt from the recent storm which we had to sweep away The outside looked like it had not been property cleaned for ages. We tried to scrub the banisters, etc, but the dirt was ingrained.
2. The pool looked greenish.Pool guy came and said that there was nothing to be done about it, as the lining was very old. The hot tub kept giving off a signal that it needed cleaning. The vacuum cleaner we left in the pool as we were told, but it did spray water against the bedroom windows at night,
3. In the kitchen, there were 4 boxes of sugar cubes torn open on the the fridge there was food left, such bottles of mustard, etc.. Same in the freezer- a pizza. How long had it been there? The fridge should have been pristine and clean.
4. When we opened the barbecue, it was so disgusting. Full of fat, live cockroaches, water, grease and totally encrusted. My husband and son spent one hour trying to get it cleaned, but it was not in any state to use. A new barbecue and a new pad underneath are needed.The propane tank was empty and we had to spend our time and money getting a new tank.
There was a cabinet off its hinges on the ground with chemical stuff spilling out of it. Life jackets were thrown over the railing. All the canoes were upright, filthy and filled with water. So we had to scrub them and let them drain. It was like nobody cared.
5. The oven was gross. Stuck on grease and grime. Awful. It certainly had not been cleaned.
6. General cleaning was not up to par. Around the windows were cobwebs and it was dirty. In the kitchen, the equipment that was available was not orderly. It was kind of randomly shoved into drawers.

The layout of the house was perfect for our group of couples, singles, etc. Beautiful neighborhood... Enjoyed the Kayaks and the pier. The pool was such a wonderful way relax and unwind after golf and/or shopping in very near by Pinehurst. The outlets in the two master bathrooms did not work... small problem, but annoying. Otherwise, a perfect stay.

Awesome venue - stocked on towels and sheets. Very clean. Wiill be staying again one day

The house was lovely and well cared for and the location was perfect. We enjoyed a relaxing family weekend. Highly recommend!

Yes, I would recommend this location to a friend or family member. Customer service was great. Sandhills rental team assisted me, and kept me updated upon my request. I would just recommend that the owners of the property keep up with outside maintenance to include quarterly pest spray services , so critters don’t enter the property, and keep up with outside lighting. This is a very dark community. Replace America Flag, and chairs near the lake (one chair broken). If your looking for a caterer utilize Elliot’s on Linden company food is fabulous!

Perfect house in a perfect location. Plenty of room for 12 guys. Would recommend this house for any 12 person groups. Didn’t have any real issues. Hopefully we will be back next year.

What an absolutely great location, and a beautifully updated home. Plenty of comfortable beds and bathrooms.
The view is spectacular, and the neighbors are all very nice.
One minor drawback is that the pool was not clean, and the cover a mess.

Overall it was great. Very large and beautiful inside and out, with plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and have space. And the lake views were amazing. Areas of improvement should include: better parking (very narrow and small for a house that size with that many bedrooms when parking on the street is prohibited; iron and ironing board; more pots/pans/etc for the full and well appointed kitchen. Other things that would take it to the next level would be more outdoor cooking/grilling equipment; sound system in main entertaining area; pool table in the downstairs living room by the entry instead of a bedroom upstairs; fishing equipment/tackle; more adirondack chairs by the lake. Overall though an awesome place as is.
